The unique concept of PNF was created in a context with general extension of witless nakedness
which surround us and against which we define. The uniqueness of our film festival does not go only
for the Czech Republic, but also for the whole central Europe.
The theme of the festival is nakedness in arts and media. PNF sharply opposes to the negative
influences on youth and to the witless pornography. Through lectures, projections, author reading,
theater performances the audience will be introduced to the issues. The particular films will be put
into a political or a cultural context by theorist of film or media.
The theme of nakedness is particularly nowadays very current. The Swedish government in 2009 as
the first government in the world supported the establishment of a porn film. In the Czech Republic
there has came into existence an initiative which criticize using nakedness in commercials. We
perceive nudity all around us but only few of us are able to connect it with poetry or high-quality
cinematography.
